Become a Christian
|
God loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you. He wants you
to live in peace with Him and receive eternal life. The only thing that
separates you from God is sin–those things we do and selfish choices we make
that fail to meet God’s standard for holiness. We are all sinners. Only God can
rescue us from our sins. Because He loves us so much, He designed a plan to do
just that. He sent Jesus, His only son, who died on the cross and rose from the
grave to pay the price for our sin. If you’d like to become a Christian, have
peace with God, and know for certain that you will spend eternity in Heaven with
Him, there are three things you must do:
Admit you have sinned and ask God
for forgiveness.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and
rose from the dead.
Confess that Jesus is Lord, receive Him into your life
as your Savior and choose to follow Him daily.
Here is a simple prayer that you may find helpful… “Lord Jesus, today I trust
you. I accept your forgiveness for all of my sins. Fill me with Your Spirit,
teach me from Your word and help me to live for You.
Thank you for my salvation and my eternal life. Amen.”
